Invitation to Membership

Dear Ones,

As you know, over the past 23 years, I've had the joy of helping launch ten Business Leadership Networks and ten Social Investor Networks. (See Description of CMC Networks)

In my research to select members, I have consistently used the following criteria.

1. A reputation rooted in integrity;
2. A demonstrated track record for giving back generously;
3. The highest standing in your fields;
4. Advanced collaborative skills and servant leadership;
5. Passion and dedication for the mission of the network.

This second criteria of generosity is Capital Missions Company's magical ingredient for the networks' successes, as people who give back with passion and dedication connect with others on a spiritual basis. This has allowed deeper, more satisfying relationships which translate into manifesting breakthroughs.

I've been extremely fortunate to have found many kindred spirits with whom to enjoy my period of being an 'elder'. I'm also feeling blessed now that I am sinking my roots into my beloved eco-village of East Troy, Wisconsin, with its rolling hills of biodynamic farms.

The twenty networks have been a continuing joy to me, as each of them creates efficient marketplaces around their mission, whether it be social investing or women's/minority economic empowerment or stewardship of wealth or social entrepreneurship or catalyzing the growth of solar around the world. While each network is succeeding in its arena, our opportunity now is to have the networks cross-connect with each other in a new, dynamic and powerful way.

My intuition told me it was now time to select key people from each of these 20 networks to allow an extraordinary connection to happen. While each of these networks has a vision of the future that works for its particular arena, we have not yet created the picture of the whole that works for all. 'The whole is greater than the sum of the parts' and this holistic picture is what we can create together.

My intuition also told me that, rather than trying to connect the 20 networks officially, it was best to choose from each network representatives interested in helping us synthesize this desired future that works for all. Using CMC's successful KINS method (Key Initiator Network Strategy), we can create this inspiring picture of the future and then disseminate it throughout our networks.

More importantly, we each need the support of our kindred spirits as we revisit our destiny paths each year and renew our resolve to move forward. It is our kindred spirits who have the magic messages for us to help guide us along our often-murky destiny paths. When we open to receive them, they shine their lights on the hidden path.

Thus I invite you to join a very private network of Kindred Spirits, who are the people I most hope to grow old with. You have been a blessing in my life and I know you will be a blessing in the lives of each other too. My friends are increasingly growing to love each other.

For this new network of 50 Kindred Spirits, the major benefit for everyone is the joy of friendship and collective creativity. One weekend a year, you will enjoy a peaceful country weekend with seven other kindred spirits, to revisit your progress on your destiny path that year. The same eight people can choose to meet each year to allow grounded and deepening relationships or you can choose to meet new folks. Spouses/life partners are welcome to join as members.

During the weekend, you will enjoy gourmet biodynamic meals from food my friends and I have grown for you, a walk among the cows on my husband Walter Moora's model biodynamic eco-farm (Nokomis EcoDairy) and short visits with other social entrepreneurs who make up this thriving eco-village. Walter and I will host you at our home and each year you will see the progress of a thriving eco-village. See the Agenda for Private Weekends - HERE.

Each year, we also host a three-day Annual Retreat which allows all the Kindred Spirits to meet each other. We find we have impacts on each other at every level, making strategic introductions, connecting each other with needed resources, honing each other's paths, and depending our spiritual experiences and practices. Please see the Agenda for the Annual Retreat - HERE.

Kindred Spirits is the network of friends to whom I am most drawn because of your high level of achievement, integrity and generosity. There will be no administration other than what I provide personally and no public profile. Results we will manifest, but visibility as a group we will not seek.

There is a particular joy I wish to share with you on these weekends that is unusual, so I ask that you go into your intuition and see if it is right for you, because it is an essential element of Kindred Spirits to me.

This joy developed because I had the courage to move my finance business to tiny East Troy and grow food in my biodynamic garden to feed my friends and family. It was only when I became grounded in the earth that my work truly began to flourish as it does today.

I believe this will be true for each of us. It is this earth that sustains us - literally supplying our food. I believe that until each of us has found our own way to become a 'steward of the earth,' our satisfaction and joy will be the lesser.

Thus, with Kindred Spirits, I am inviting you to explore this possibility at whatever depth is comfortable for you by exploring nature within Walter's farm. Walter leads us on enjoyable walks each weekend while teaching EarthCare—how eco-systems become sustainable.

What I am asking from you in return is to help us create a design for greater financial stability for organic family farms, most of which need an additional source of income to flourish. Walter's 'Nokomis Eco-Dairy' will be the model. Thus, there will be a membership cost of $1,000 each (or $1,500 for couples), 100% of which will go to sustain and enhance Nokomis Eco-Dairy.

Meanwhile, CMC will work pro-bono to explore how a Kindred Spirits-type network can create a model for how other organic farms can create financial relationships with non-farmers also wishing to help steward the earth. Those Kindred Spirits who wish may get involved with this effort but it is a matter of choice.

Few of us are connected to farms now but when I look back at what unites us, I feel it is our reverence for life and for the earth. Here in East Troy, you will experience this life force with full impact. And wait until you taste this difference in the food!

You will be our guest for the weekend at our home, paying only your transportation here to East Troy, 1½ hours north of Chicago's O'Hare Airport, plus about $100 in out-of pocket food expenses. For the 3-day Annual Retreat to meet your Kindred Spirits, everyone will cover their own out-of-pocket expenses at a nearby retreat center ($200-300).

The 2005 dates for the Weekends in the Country (Friday at 3 pm to Sunday at 3 pm) will be the second weekend of each month from April through August. The Annual Retreat for all 50 Kindred Spirits will be December 1st-3rd, Thursday at 3 pm to Saturday at 3 pm.

I am sending you this invitation with quiet joy. This is the network of my heart and our future. I hope you will join us!

Love,

Susan
