ANNUAL RETREAT INFORMATION AND DIRECTIONS

East Troy is located between Milwaukee and Chicago but Milwaukee’s airport is much more convenient. We are about 40 minutes from Milwaukee's airport and about two hours from O'Hare. (Chicago's Midway Airport can take up to 4 hours and we strongly recommend against it.)
We encourage you to rent a car and have posted on the website your colleagues’ travel arrangements so you can arrange to share rides. Taxis are unavailable and limousines cost approximately $90. The hotel has 27 deluxe rooms and 24 suites of which 8 are whirlpool and 4 have fireplaces. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, complimentary continental plus breakfast, complimentary Newspaper, complimentary parking, complimentary local calls and laundry/valet services. Complimentary High Speed Internet Access is available for half the rooms in the hotel. An indoor pool and whirlpool make this a relaxing stay.

From Chicago's O’Hare International Airport:

Ask for directions to get to I-94 North and then follow the directions below. (It can be tricky so be sure to get very clear directions.) Once on I-94 North, stay on it until you cross into Wisconsin, when you will eventually (after more than 40 minutes) take exit 33 for Route 20 heading West (left). Take Route 20 West for about 20 minutes when you will need to take a sharp left on Route D (not DD, which comes before that!). The Route D sign is a small square sign standing alone on the right side of the road and is very easy to miss—watch carefully! Stay on Route D for 20 min or so until you get to the four-way stop at Route 120. Turn North (right) on Route 120 and go under the over pass for I-43, after which you will immediately see Country Inn & Suites on the left. Just after the gas station on your right you will turn left on O’Leary Lane to Country Inn & Suites.

From Mitchell Intl. Airport, Milwaukee:

Exit General Mitchell Field Airport taking ramp (right) onto I-94 West toward Milwaukee. Immediately get into the left lane because you must follow signs to I-43 South toward Beloit. Watch carefully because there are a number of choice points wherein you must always choose I-43 South! Travel Southwest on I-43 for approximately 20 miles to East Troy. Do not take the first East Troy exit - for Highway 20. The next exit is Route 120. Take the exit for Route 120 going north (right) and you’ll immediately see Country Inn & Suites on the left. Just after the gas station on your right you will turn left on O’Leary Lane to Country Inn & Suites’ entrance.

From Country Inn & Suites to Michael Fields:

Turn left on Route 120 (North). Stay on Route 120 until you reach the town square of East Troy. Go around three sides of the square and turn right onto Main Street, just past the gas station. Stay on Main Street for a couple minutes until you reach Town Line Road, just past the shopping strip on the right. Turn left on Town Line Road and then turn left into the first driveway by the white barn located on the east side of Town Line Road. Michael Fields Agricultural Institute is the beautiful, wooden barn structure next to the white barn.

From Milwaukee:

Take Interstate 43 South towards Beloit. Exit Hwy 20 and go West (right). (Hwy 20 runs along the north edge of East Troy.) Continue West on Hwy 20 about 2 miles and then turn left onto Townline Road at the Kiwanis Manor Nursing Home. This is just before the 55 mph speed zone begins. Drive about 1 mile to the Stop sign at County ES. (Alpine Shopping Center is just to your left, northeast of the crossing.) Drive straight through the crossing and turn left into the first driveway by the white barn located on the east side of Townline Road. Michael Fields Agricultural Institute is the beautiful, wooden barn structure next to the white barn.

From Chicago:

Take Interstate 94 west out of Chicago into Wisconsin. Exit Hwy 20 at Racine. Turn left onto Hwy 20 and go West through Waterford to East Troy. You will pass under I-43 at the East end of East Troy.
